Hi everyone!

We started off the 115 degree day with a trip to the Palm Springs Air Museum. We got to see and learn about World War planes and even got to meet some pilots. After fun learning programs led by Racheli S. and Racheli A. at the museum, we were ready to escape the heat so we went on an exciting cable car ride thousands of feet up to the top of a huge mountain. When we got to the top, the weather was about 30 degrees cooler and we actually went on a short hike and did some meditating with our counselor Shlomo. After descending thousands of feet, we finally got to meet the newest participant of YBY, Tzvi! Welcoming him to the trip was the most amazing part of the day. We all sang and cheered his name and his enthusiasm immediately pumped all of us up.

 

It was another amazing day on YBY ’14!
