July 23, 2015: Yad Vashem, Har Hetzl, & Machane Yehuda

Today was not your average day on Yad B Yad, if you see Yad B Yad on a regular day you will see smiles. However today was a more serious day and faces were filled with frowns and eyes with tears. Instead of the usual fun hikes and activities we visited the Yad Vashem holocaust memorial museum in Jerusalem and Har Herzl. There we toured the museum with great guides who went through the war step by step with us. Even architecture of the museum symbolized how the war progressed. After the museum we continued on to another serious activity which is a visit to Har Herzl which is a cemetery next to the museum where many of the past israeli prime ministers and fallen soldier are buried. After these very intense activities we got to unwind by visiting the shuk and buying presents for our friends which we will give to each other on shabbat and stuff for ourselves and just walking around enjoying Israel.

Shoutout to Chaim for the siyum, dinner was great and so was night activity.
