We woke up bright and early to load our bags onto the buses. After Tefillah and breakfast we left Beit Kay and made our way to Nachal Shofet. We hiked through trees and caves and even played a game. After the hike we got back on the bus for a nice long ride to Caesarea. We saw a video about the history of Caesarea from Herod until Baron Rothschild. We saw the theater where concerts and Roman horse races were held, and took pictures by the beach. We even had several Asian tourists us for our pictures. We got back on the bus and drove to a look out where we saw a beautiful view of Yerushalayim. We made a L’chaim on grape juice, danced, and sang. After Mincha at the lookout we drove to our hotel and ate dinner. For night activity we had an amazing program put together by the Israeli staff to prep us for Yad Vashem and Har Hertzel tomorrow. We discussed some personal stories about the Holocaust and some of the things we hope to gain from tomorrow. The discussion was followed by a movie about Michael Levin, a hero in heaven. Everyone was touched and we are all excited to see what we will learn tomorrow.
