July 21, 2015: Rosh Hanikra, Army Base, & Deal or No Deal

Today, has been yet another wonderful day in Israel! We started off our day at Rosh Hanikra where there was a beautiful view of the blue Mediterranean sea. We took a cable car down to the mountain where we were able to watch a video that described the makings of the mountain as well as the history behind it. We were then split into groups and were able to explore the man made tunnels and caves. Then we headed to an IDF army base by the Syrian and Lebenon border. we were given the privilege of meeting new soldiers and sending them our gratitude. we brought with us food and drinks that the soldiers really appreciated. It was an amazing experience to be able to have one on one conversations with the soldiers as well as being able to see some of the battle equipment. After the army base we went back to the hotel for a very special night activity of deal or no deal!! Rather than having money in the suitcases, the counselors placed different times of curfew. our curfew time was 4:42 (thanks Aliza :)).

‘till tomorrow!
