July 20, 2016: Tal Dan, Oh Rancho, and Party Boat!

Dear Yad B’Yad Journal,

Day 4 began by us touring the border of Lebanon while overlooking Syria and Israel. We learned about life on the Kibbutz of Misgav Am and what it’s like living on the border of Lebanon. We continued by traveling to the Dan river, where we took a beautiful nature hike while having fun, splashing water. We spent time playing games, dancing and cheering our Yad B’Yad jams! We followed it by eating lunch (yay more schnitzel) and loading our busses to the Jordan river where we went kayaking in small groups. In the Jordan, we had a lot of fun cheering and “never” leaving our rafts. We moved our water activities from the Jordan river to the sea of Galilee. On the way, we ate a delicious BBQ Dinner at a restaurant over-looking the Kineret. Following dinner, we all boarded a party boat where we danced and sang on the Kineret. After a long and eventful day, we returned back to Kfar Giladi for a good nights sleep 🙂

Love,
