Yad B’Yad finally got under way today when everyone met up in West Orange. We started off with a pizza lunch. Then we headed out to bowling; it was so much fun. After that we went back to the shul to play an ice breaker called “fruit bowl,” where we all got to learn really interesting facts about one another. After we all got to know each other a little better, we got our housing assignments and went to get ready for Shabbos. We started our first Shabbos together by davening with the shul. We ended off the night with a great dinner, filled with songs, dancing and games. This was an awesome start to a wonderful Shabbos filled with lots of ruach.
