July 16, 2014: Day 2

Hi everyone!! We had an amazing second day at Yad B’Yad orientation. We started off the day with some delicious waffles. Then we played some great ice-breakers (question cards and “brushing up”) and learned so much about each other. We also did some great activities learning about inclusion, teamwork, and friendship. We then headed up to Albany where we had a beautiful lunch on the grass. After that we met up with Corey and Jeffery from Watson Adventures and started our scavenger hunt. The competition was fierce. We did different tasks throughout the museum and the park outside. At the end of the day we were all runner-ups except for the Inclusive Hunting Weasels. After that we headed back to Powell house and played a girls vs. boys kickball game. We ended off our spectacular day with a movie called “Including Samuel.” We don’t think it’s possible to have more fun than we did today!! Thank you and goodnight!
