We had an awesome first day of Yad B’Yad 2014!! The Teaneck bus was first to arrive at the Powell House. We played some great icebreakers to get to know each other until the Five Towns bus arrived. Once we were all together we davened Mincha for the first time as a group. Then, we played a really fun team building activity; building structures using spaghetti and marshmallows, learning about working together, and the different roles we can each play in a team. It was a hard race coming up with some out-of-the-box ideas until we finally reached a winner. We then davened Maariv and eagerly broke our fasts on bagels, noodles, and some delicious salad. We topped off the rockin’ day with some yummy ice cream sundaes and a fantastic movie called “I am Sam.” It was a great start to the most incredible summer ever!!   YAD B’YAD 14!!!
