Day Twenty Six: Monday, August 6th: Food Packaging & Yad Vashem!

Hey guys! It’s Yakira, Erin, and Tess!! Today was so meaningful for us. We started our day by visiting the pantry packing center where we packed food for people who are in need. In the afternoon we went to Yad Vashem where we learned about the Holocaust. We all had a meaningful experience as we saw artifacts from the Holocaust time period and learned survivors’ stories. We then had an amazing opportunity to hear from Rav Machlis and we learned that you should always welcome people into your house and to be kind to others. We then had a night activity called “the newly friend game”! We had an awesome day and we are pumped to spend one last week in Israel!

*Shoutout to Efraim for being the best counselor everrrrr???
