Shabbat Shalom everybody! Today, we learned what it’s like to be together with Yachad in a community. We stayed in a nice community in LA. We davened at Bnei David, a beautiful shul on Pico. Following davening, we had a Kiddush with some great chulent. After chilling with the people in the shul, we had learning sessions given by our awesome counselors, Jacob and Brandon. Then, we had a great big lunch with lots of cheering and singing. In addition to the old cheers, we learned some new ones. It’s fun to cheer on chairs but sometimes it’s safer to just sit; we learned that the hard way. After lunch, we had some time to relax before heading over to the Lurie’s house for a great oneg and seudat shlishit. We played the “newlyfriend” game (our take on the newlywed game) led by Group 1. After more singing and yummy homemade dinner, we had a beautiful Havdalah. When we arrived back at the hotel we had pizza and milkshakes waiting for us!!! And so– a fourth meal was devoured. We were all pretty much tired out from a long Shabbos full of cheering, ruach, and food, so we headed to sleep to prepare for the next day of our Yad B’Yad experience!
