Dear YBY Journal,

Some of our participants and staff had an early start this morning by climbing up Masada. We enjoyed seeing a beautiful sunrise that started our day bright. After that we left Masada and headed home to Jerusalem. Our first stop was Givat Hatachmoshet, Ammunition Hill, where we watched a movie about the bravery of our soldiers of the Six Day War. We also walked the trenches and were able to get a first hand experience.

After we left Ammunition Hill, we headed to Emek Tzurim where we learned about the archeology that was found around Har Habayit. Some of us found Stones, glass, pottery and one group even  found a coin! We then headed towards Ben Yehuda Street and split up into groups and did ton of different things like Big Apple Pizza, Coffix, ice cream, the kippa shop and a bunch of other things. After we finally went to Ramat Rachel where we settled in, had a delicious parve dinner and had an awesome night activity with Isaac Graber of double dare trivia!
