August 5, 2014: Day 22

We started the day with davening and kinot. Both staff members and participants were given the opportunity to lead and give insights into the kinot we said. This made for a meaningful and memorable davening. After davening, we headed to the Museum of Tolerance where we had over 3 hours of touring. Our time was split between the Anne Frank exhibit and a Holocaust exhibit. This was an amazing tribute to the people we lost in the Holocaust. The Museum of Tolerance added another level of meaning to Tisha B’av. We headed back to the hotel and we had some rest time. During that time there was a chaburah that leined Megillat Eicha. At 8:31 the feast began as we ended Tisha B’av. After break fast we had an awesome game of human “apples to apples” led by Mitchell. To top off the night, our very own Becca made awesome smoothies for everyone. Today was meaningful and ended with some fun!
