Hi everyone! Davening began at 9am sharp, with a big crowd there up and early. The chazzans brought beautiful tunes to the prayers. The theme of the Shabbos was bar/bat mitzvah. Our bar mitzvah boy Saul (sreissmash), got maftir and had candy thrown at him at the conclusion of the Haftorah. Davening was followed by a scrumptious Kiddush in honor of the bnei mitzvah, Saul and Sarah. After Kiddush, learning groups, led by Rachel and Lizzy, were extremely interesting and informative. We then enjoyed a delicious lunch which involved zemirot as well as another fun circle time and some more dvar torahs. We then had some enjoyable free time where we continued to bond with our awesome friends. Then, we played a game where participants had to match together two participants with the same song. We davened mincha followed by seudah shelishit and some powerful zemirot. Shabbos ended with a beautiful Havdalah and sha sha shavuah tov cheers. The night ended with glow in the dark capture the flag and delicious ice cream.
