Birshus Rabbeim, family, friends, and teachers,
This past Thursday, YOM TEAM YACHAD, we experienced something unlike anything ever experienced before-we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Six Flags, more flags, more fun!). As we arrived in the parking lot, we took a short break for learning groups run by two of our wonderful counselors, Shoshana and Mitchell. After the learning programs we discovered, outside Discovery Kingdom (get it?), that we couldn’t bring food from our caterers into the park, so we spent some time eating our lunches. Afterwards, we were split into groups determined by the types of rides we were interested in. Many people were in the slow groups, but that didn’t stop them from #breakingboundaries. By the end of the day, majority of the people in the slow-rides group went on the fast rides- #breakingboundaries!! Then, after we finished, we went back to our stupendous hotel that loves us, and had our night activity-Deal or No Deal. However, instead of our national American currency, the boxes held times referring to our curfew. The winning box was 2:59 AM, but since our hotel loves us so so much, they allowed us to stay up until 2 AM. They’re the best! Anyways, it’s time to go to bed because it’s getting late. Have a great day/night!
