Today, at Yom Hachanich we had a really good time

And that’s why we’re writing it down in a rhyme

Our counselors left (it was quite a low blow)

But campers stepped up and ran the show

The theme of the day was an “Olympic” style

We worked really hard-it was worth the while

Groups got together as different nations

but everyone played b’yachad in celebration!

From musical chairs to water balloons in the sun

Everyone participated and had so much fun

At the end of the day we presented our banners and national anthem

The room was shaking from enthusiasm

By dinnertime our counselors returned

After a day of vacation that was well deserved

It was an excellent day of inclusion and friends-

that’s all we have to say-so this is the end.
