Internships/Externships/Field Placement

Yachad/National Jewish Council for Disabilities has one of the largest and most prestigious graduate and PhD student field placement and internship/externships programs in the Disability world.

Disciplines include: social work; psychology, mental health counseling; education, and art therapy.

Students apply for internships with Yachad via their universities.  An interview process will follow.  Students accepted into the intern program will be placed in settings within the agency according to their interests, professional discipline, university requirements, and academic track: clinical; community organizing; policy; education; or administration and leadership, or some combination of those areas.
