Learning Social Skills With Improv Theater
We are very excited to present our newest engaging skill development group. We have contracted with a professional improv coach to use the art of improv theater to build social skills. Ashley Glicken is a professional improv coach who specializes in using improv to teach professional and personal development. We are looking forward to using Ashley’s skills to help our members work on conversational skills, helping to cope with social anxieties, build confidence, and overall social skills.
The group is a super fun, entertaining, and engaging way to build skills, we are using experiential techniques to teach this social skills course and leaving the classroom structure out of it. This group is for individuals who are looking to expand their social skills and have the ability to verbally communicate. The age range for this group is 18+. It is open to both men and women. We have capped the group at 15 members for the time being, spots will be awarded on a first come first served basis.
This group will take place at JUF Dayhab located at 1122 Coney Island Ave. We will be having a six week series beginning on Wednesday May 15th and happening every Wednesday until and including June 19th
