Eric Fier

Eric Fier, MD, is the founder of TherapyWorksATL, a consortium of mental health professionals in Atlanta, Georgia working with children, adolescents, and adults. His clinical practice is one that combines interpersonal psychotherapy and innovative pharmacotherapy in a holistic, relationship-based treatment model that interweaves mindfulness, creativity, self-acceptance, spirituality, and generous doses of humor. Dr. Fier’s clinical practice centers around working with “quirky kids” — children who don’t often fit into neat diagnostic categories. He has a strong clinical interest in children with infection-triggered OCD and Autoimmune Encephalitis (PANDAS/PANS), and has developed treatment protocols for helping these children heal. He is nationally recognized for his work with these kids and families. Outside of the office, he has raised 4 children, designed an award winning modern zen garden, and won numerous awards both in teaching and stand-up comedy.
