Everything is relative. Sitting on a stove for a minute can seem like an hour and 36 hours can seem like a minute. Last week Wednesday & Thursday over a 36 hour period, Yachad smashed it’s previous giving records and successfully raised over $2 million.
Strengthened by 10 regions across the US, Canada & Israel and joined by 100’s of members, peers and lay leaders, Yachad worked the phones, social media, text and emails to ensure that this incredible goal would be met.
Ken Saibel, Yachad’s Associate Director commented “Our team came together as one like never before. We tried something new this year by creating teams within the chapters which engaged our teens in a way that I believe will positively impact their lives far beyond these two days. To see the next generation participate like they did, created an excitement that thus far has been unparalleled within Yachad. The way our entire organization came together is something we should all take pride in. The excitement was truly palpable.”
