This past Shabbos, participants and staff from across the New York area participated in the first Yachad hotel Shabbaton since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Yachad High School Leadership Shabbaton. 225 people participated in the Shabbaton, which includes individuals with disabilities and high school leaders from 10 New York yeshiva high schools. The Ruach was just as present as ever, as participants enjoyed singing, dancing, inclusive programs and educational sessions led by advocates Yakira Begun and Pam Schuller. We’re excited to be back and cannot wait for the next Shabbaton!!!
