Day 5: Take It to the Streets
As part of JDAIM, Yachad’s Impact Fellows are leading a special initiative called “Take It to the Streets.” Throughout the month, our Fellows step beyond the classroom and the screen to engage real people in real conversations about disability awareness, acceptance, and inclusion.
By asking thoughtful questions, our Impact Fellows amplify diverse voices and perspectives, reminding us that inclusion begins with listening. These street-level conversations help bring abstract ideas to life, turning awareness into something personal, relatable, and actionable.
Take It to the Streets reflects Yachad’s belief that meaningful inclusion is built through dialogue, curiosity, and connection. This initiative challenges all of us to slow down, listen more carefully, and rethink how we create communities where everyone is seen, valued, and able to belong.
