Day 4: Read "Those Kids"

In “Those-Kids” a mother of a child with disabilities writes about how she’d like her son to be treated. Please read this story and consider the accompanying questions.

  1. Was the young boy doing anything wrong in his relationship with his neighbor with a disability?
  2. What’s the difference between “Chessed” and doing something nice for a friend?
  3. How can children learn to not focus on a person’s disability?
  4. Is there a better way for organizations and synagogues to present inclusive opportunities? What might they be?

I READ “THOSE KIDS” AND DISCUSSED IT WITH A FRIEND

Now is my chance to enter a raffle where prizes will be drawn weekly!
