Color Run FAQs

What do I need to bring for the run?

Running shoes, running clothing, fun shtik and lots of ruach!! (you will get a running shirt from us). You MUST bring a change of clothes for after the race, otherwise there is a chance you will not be allowed back onto the buses.

Does the color come off my clothes?

Yes, it’s a special, non-toxic powder that comes off clothes and shoes.

Do I need sunglasses?

Yachad will be giving you LIT Yachad sunglasses free of charge!! It is suggested to wear sunglasses to avoid the color powder from irritating your eyes.

Do I need to bring food or water?

The park will have kosher food stands and free water stations.

Will there be a minyan at the park?

Yes, Shacharit will be at 7:30 right near the Yachad stand.

When/how do I get my running kit?

Before the race, we will email you information regarding pick up times and location for the kits. Schools that have over 30 runners will have the running kits delivered directly to their schools. Running kits that aren’t picked up can be collected at the Yachad stand in the park on the day of the race.

What’s actually IN the running kit?

In the running kit you will find:

  • White Dri-Fit short sleeve running shirt
  • Running bib
  • Gifts from sponsors
  • Team Yachad sunglasses

How do I know when and where to go for the bus to the race?

Before the race, we will email you a link for bus sign up and payment. Schools that have over 30 runners will get a bus straight from their school.

Can I take a different bus back than the one I came in?

Yes, when you sign up for the bus, please indicate which location you would like to return to

Can I sign up for only one way?

Yes, but the cost will still be the full round trip price

What if I am coming to the park on my own?

The entrance is at Givat Hamofaim, “Ganei Yehoshua” at the Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv. There is paid parking available at the Achuzat Hachof Chenion next to Paz gas station. If taking the train, get off at the University stop which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the park.

Where can I leave my bag while at the run?

You can leave personal items on the bus. However, Yachad does not take responsibility for anything left on the bus. We will also have a supervised storage area by the Yachad stand, cost is 10 shekel per bag

When is the next Team Yachad run?!
