Morasha Yachad Camper - Week 7
Morasha Yachad Camper - Week 7

Dear Morasha Yachad Families and Friends,
It’s hard to believe that we just ended our 7th week of camp and that Morasha Yachad 2016 is slowly coming to a close. This week was a busy week filled with exciting programs and activities. We started the week on a serious note on Sunday as we fasted and mourned for Tisha B’av (really asarah b’av). During the day, we participated in meaningful Yerushalayim related programs as well as other low-key activities. Monday began as a typical day with fun activities including drama, swim, sports, shiur and field competitions. However, in the middle of a newcomb game (with an oversized beach ball) a helicopter flew over camp throwing papers all over the place. The papers directed us toward the lake where we were greeted by a boat-stunt show capped off by a helicopter dropping more papers that welcomed us to Color War (Morashia)!! That night we participated in the MORASHIA Game On basketball game where each division of camp played a quarter of a joint basketball game as the whole camp watched. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were all filled with varying sports competitions, great activities and a closing event of song, banner, and art project presentations. Congratulations to team purple on winning color war! On Friday afternoon we had a closing ceremony for Yachad where we saw a slideshow, were given Morasha Yachad shirts, and spoke about our wonderful times together. After enjoying another fantastic week in camp, we excitedly look forward to ushering in another relaxing Shabbos B’Yachad.
Have a great Shabbos!
